Pittsburgh Pirates (Ohlender) +215 over Chicago Cubs (Lilly)
We’ve backed the Pirates in the first two games of the series with a 4 unit profit, so we’re playing with ‘house money’ in the final game of the set. There’s no reason the Bucs can’t complete the sweep–Cubs in lousy form right now losing 8 of their last 10. Lilly looked sharp in his first game back off the DL but has struggled in his last three starts. Cubs are now 0-4 on the season as a home favorite of -175 or more, and Pirates are 7-4 +8.4 units against left handers. Classic matchup of a team that is ‘overvalued’ by the general public against one that is ‘undervalued’ and we’ll gladly take the big price with the Pirates.
